...and I agree as well. I would say that living abroad, you discover not only that people tend to have some wild ideas about your country (some of which are accurate, some of which are far from it), but also that news media all over the world tend to provide limited, frequently flawed coverage that rarely put matters into perspective and, consequently, breeds a rather skewed notion of foreign countries. (Though there are obviously exceptions.)

Now, Tomas, what about those pictures you've been promising to upload? ;-)

Hello, I agree. Exotism is surely a bit dangerous as you might dehumanise or make other cultures and people so VERY strange ...but it can also bring exitement and curiousity. Like this swedish village on Hokkaido. Maybe some people over there will be curious and come here and vice versa. And that is good.
